Sanneh Nutrition Services

In 2021 over 3.7 million visits were made to Minnesota food shelves. These numbers affect all of us as we served over 197 thousand children in the Twin Cities Metro areas.

This is where The Sanneh Foundation comes in.  We package and distribute meals six days a week to help close the food insecurity gap for families in the Twin Cities Metro area.

Access to nutritious food is a prerequisite for both individual and collective health. We strive to serve a mixture of fresh produce, robust proteins, and culturally-specific items, working with grassroots partners to ensure we fill every pocket of need.

March Campaign

Did you know that 1 in 12 Minnesotans experience food insecurity and 1 in 8 kids do not have access to nutritious foods?

As a nutrition community partner, I can proudly say that Team Sanneh has served over 1.5 million pounds of food and locally sourced fresh produce to over 35,500 households in Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota.

This March, we are participating in the largest grassroots food and fund drive in the state. In partnership with the Minneapolis Greater Council of Churches FoodShare Campaign, we ask that you consider making a tax-deductible financial contribution. Your financial gift can go further as food banks provide discount purchasing to organizations and programs like ours. Every $1 donated equates to $15 worth of food.

Through the generosity of the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation, your financial donation to our March Campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $15,000.

The Sanneh Foundation will also collect food items such as rice, beans, soups, canned fruits and vegetables, flour, sugar, olive oil, pasta, crackers, peanut butter and jelly, almond or coconut milk, condiments, and spices.

Donations can be dropped off at our office Monday through Friday from 11am-4pm or Conway Community Center Monday through Friday from 11am-6pm.

Additionally, you can support our organization by becoming a volunteer or by sharing our mission with your friends, family, and networks on social media.
