TSF Receives Grant from Timberwolves
Tuesday December 12th, The Sanneh Foundation attended the Minnesota Timberwolves versus the Philadelphia 76ers game at the Target Center. Staff enjoyed an exciting and close game between two of the young up and coming teams in the NBA, as both rosters hold the next generation of up and coming superstars. During a timeout in the third quarter, The Sanneh Foundation took center court, and was presented with a $5,000 check as a grant from John Thomas, TimberwolvesVP of Community Relations. William, a Conway Community Center regular, took center court as well, with Founder Tony Sanneh, to hold up the check. It was an exciting moment being honored in front of thousands of fans.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have always done great work in the metro communities, and beyond. They have shown much support for The Sanneh Foundation by visiting Conway, attending camp events, and being a part of our Annual Gala4Goals. We would like to thank the Minnesota Timberwolves for the continuous support they have shown for the foundation, and for the opportunity to accept the grant. We will use the grant to create a more safe and fun place for youth in the community.
