Conway Programs

The Sanneh Foundation Senior Services programming features free and inclusive programming that helps older adults obtain the resources and access they need to improve their health and well-being, as well as age in place. Through the spirit of collaboration, Sanneh features intentional social service and healthcare partnerships that help seniors receive the complex and culturally specific support they deserve by addressing the Social Determinant of Health.

Silver Sneakers Classic Fitness Class
A fitness class hosted in the Conway Gymnasium, weekly on Tuesdays @10am beginning in February 2024, that is targeted toward seniors looking to retain their fitness while engaging in social and age-specific fitness workouts.  With SilverSneakers Classic, you’ll get a full-body workout that specifically targets the areas that seniors need to focus on. During this muscular strength workout for seniors, you’ll move through a series of exercises that challenge your balance and coordination.  . The classes are totally free with a Sanneh MVP Senior Membership, which is valued at $120/year. Register at www.sannehathletics.com.

Senior Community Services Employment Program
Through a collaboration with Motivation, Educating, and Training (MET), Sanneh hosts numerous senior citizens with employment opportunities as part of The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) that provides training and employment services to help low-income participants 55 or older gain the skills needed to get jobs and become financially self-sufficient. SCSEP participants work roughly 20 hours a week for nonprofit organizations, school districts or government offices to receive work-based training and provide valuable services to their communities. Eligible participants earn minimum wage at their work-based training assignments, so they earn income while training. For more information, call  MET at 651-207-6290.
