Our Focus
Due to the opportunity gap in the Twin Cities, TSF focuses its support efforts on diverse low-income urban and immigrant youth populations. The overwhelming majority of youth we work with come from communities of color, and the populations we work with speak numerous languages, including but not limited to: English, Hmong, Spanish, Somali, Arabic, Amharic, Burmese, and Oromo.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
The Sanneh Foundation throughout its history has asserted the dignity of all people without exception. TSF also recognizes that individuals, families and communities are diverse. TSF values and respects this diversity and chooses to be inclusive through its acceptance of all individuals regardless of race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, military status, pregnancy, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, familial status, with regard to public assistance, membership or activity in a local commission, or other legally protected status. TSF asserts that all individuals, without exception, are intrinsically valuable.
